The day before we boarded the Norwegian Viva in Ravenna, Italy, for a nine-night Mediterranean cruise in October 2024, we arrived in the city on a train from Venice. With an even free for activities, we decided to book a tour of Ravenna and set out on foot from our hotel to have dinner in the area where the tour would begin. On the way to the restaurant, we came across one of the old towers in the city that was leaning quite dramatically. We’d seen news reports of these leaning towers in Italy in the years leading up to the cruise, so it was pretty interesting to see one up close.

Ferry Boat Ride In Mykonos Greece
For our Norwegian Viva shore excursion to Delos, Greece, in October 2024, we took a ferry boat from the Mykonos Cruise Dock over to the Mykonos Old Port, where tours to Delos are based. This boat ride was relatively smooth because it stayed close to the shore.
